Luce Lebart

L'exposition Premières fois / Premières photos, visible jusqu'au 1er novembre 2026 au Pavillon Populaire à Montpellier, est signée Luce Lebart, historienne de la photographie et commissaire d'exposition. Cette dernière travaille à la reconnaissance de collections oubliées et à leur histoire. Bien connue à Arles, elle a participé à 5 expositions aux Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles.

Photography has been a vital strand in Thames & Hudson’s publishing programme throughout our history. We have been privileged to work with and publish a roster of great photographers whose work has become canonical to the medium, among them Henri Cartier-Bresson, Josef Koudelka and Sarah Moon, and authors and curators whose anthologies and surveys seek to broaden and build our appreciation of what photography is and can be.

The Will Write Soon exhibition at the Centre d’Art Gwinzegal, Guingamp, is based on the collection of photographic cards put together by the collector and author David Thomson, who provided a first original vision in his book Dry Hole published in 2022 by Morel Books and AMC. Will Write Soon extends this work, this time offering an encounter with images “as they are”.
