The Aspen-Pitkin County Housing Authority issued 22 notice of violations after completing the 2025 biennial homeownership affidavit. All APCHA homeowners are required to complete a requalification affidavit every two years to confirm they meet APCHA work requirements.

The Sterling Aspen is closed temporarily while it seeks a new liquor license. The Sterling Aspen is temporarily closed while it applies for a new liquor license. The Aspen nightclub is seeking its own liquor license after Bear Den Aspen (the owners of which also own the space Sterling occupies) removed Sterling from its liquor license last month. Sterling originally obtained its liquor license as part of Joonas Group LLC’s license, the company behind Bear Den.
