Five drivers were deemed to have gone over the speed limit in the pits during last Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix, one of them twice, an unwanted new record for the most historic of street circuits. Lewis Hamilton, Oscar Piastri, Pierre Gasly (twice), George Russell and Franco Colapinto were all judged to have exceeded the 60km/h limit in the pitlane, but they all swore they had been on the speed limiter between the two pitlane lines and their teams confirmed that was the case.
