University of Jamestown announces new head coach and athletic director

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFYR) -The University of Jamestown will have multiple new faces in new positions entering the 2026-2027 academic and athletic year. Former head football coach Brian Mistro will step into the athletic director role, while former Jimmies’ head football coach Tom Dosch steps back into the role that he last held in 2007. The changes come after former Athletic Director Austin Hieb recently accepted a position at South Dakota State University as deputy athletic director.
