JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. (WBNG) -- A ribbon cutting ceremony was held by Broome County’s Habitat for Humanity on West Street in Johnson City to welcome a family into their new home. Members of the community came to hear remarks from members with the organization, volunteers involved in the project and the family who will be living in the building.

VESTAL, N.Y. (WBNG) -- Families came out to vestal’s Kopernik Observatory to watch the Artemis II spacecraft continue its journey around the moon. Many were in attendance to view the live stream and learn more about the ongoing Artemis voyage. Tonight marked the lunar flyby hitting its nearest point of contact with the moon before continuing on its path home. The staff at kopernik say that the local response of the launch has been incredible with excitement reaching an all-time high.

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) — The Binghamton University Student Association Board hosted a panel with actress Debby Ryan at the Anderson Center on campus Thursday night. Ryan is known for her years as a Disney Channel star with roles in “Jessie,” “Radio Rebel,” and “Suite Life on Deck.” Guests were able to ask questions and hear personal experiences from her time as an actor during the Q&A section of the event.
