Abstract Phenotypic screening experiments comprise many images of the same cells perturbed in different ways, with biologically significant variation often subtle or difficult to see by eye. The specialized nature of the morphological changes and the fact that large quantities of data can be produced quickly makes training new machine learning models attractive. A byproduct of the experimental setup is knowledge of which well an image originated from and the treatment applied.

With Amsterdam Dance Event 2021 just around the corner, we pick out eight of our favourite shows from this year's incredible programme. Luke Nightingale 22 Jan 2021 The Dutch government has unveiled a €300m Covid cancellation fund that will ease the financial burden on live events for 2021. The fund will allow for all events with a capacity of over 3,000 and taking place after 1st July this year to go ahead and plan their events, knowing the government will financially back them if they are forced to cancel.
