Dried Blood Spot Lipidomics in Diabetes
Abstract Comprehensive lipidomic profiling in diabetes has identified disease-associated lipid signatures that may support more personalised monitoring beyond routine glycaemic control. Dried blood spot (DBS) microsampling offers a minimally invasive method for collecting and storing small blood volumes (<50 uL), enabling decentralised and longitudinal sampling. However, its application in lipidomics for cardiometabolic phenotyping remains underexplored.
Cross-Validation of Metabolic Phenotypes in SARS-CoV-2 Infected Subpopulations Using Targeted Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS)
Metabolic phenotyping is a powerful tool that enables for the comprehensive analysis of the molecular content of biological fluids or tissue. (1) The technique allows for the identification of discriminatory markers and multimarker signatures capable of both stratification and classification at the individual level as well as identification of metabolic risk markers of disease at the population level.

Exploration of Human Serum Lipoprotein Supramolecular Phospholipids Using Statistical Heterospectroscopy in n-Dimensions (SHY-n): Identification of Potential Cardiovascular Risk Biomarkers Related to SARS-CoV-2 Infection
Introduction SARS-CoV-2 infection causes a complex range of immunologically driven systemic effects in multiple organ systems, and this manifests as multiple biochemical pathway disruptions. (1,2) Some of these abnormalities are dependent on the severity of the disease in the acute phase and may show long-term persistence associated with PACS.
