My first professional job was for the Victoria Advocate as a Diversity/Goliad county reporter.

Yes, it was fun. It was also my grandma's.

Bloggers believe they are journalist and don't understand the responsibility of being a journalist.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means informing and educating the public. We are responsible for some of decisions people make or actions politicians take.

Why did you become a journalist?
I wanted to uncover the injustices in the world. It was between journalist or lawyer.

Make sure you are in it for the right reason. It entails long nights and hardwork.
