Early postpartum glucose screening of women with hyperglycaemia in pregnancy (HIP) can identify women who have the highest risk of developing impaired glucose tolerance and T2DM. This study examines the association between demographics, events during pregnancy, socioeconomic status and postpartum T2DM screening. Using the French National Health Data System, this cross-sectional study included all deliveries where the mother had HIP in France in 2015, (n = 76,862).
