English Français Deutsch Italiano 中文 More Español Ελληνικά 日本語 Português Türkçe Drawing on more than 89,000 firm-level observations from 94 countries across Europe, other advanced economies, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, sourced from the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, we examine whether ambitious national climate commitments translate into greater corporate adoption of CO2 monitoring and energy management practices.

Seed longevity is an important factor which determines crop yields, and plant survival in natural ecosystems. Desiccation tolerant (orthodox) seed undergoes programmed maturation drying following development and maturation on the mother plant. Low levels of cellular metabolism in the quiescent embryo of the desiccated seed function to prolong seed viability.
