Lynn began her career at KTAL NBC 6 in 2009. She currently works in the newsroom as the evening assignment editor.

In January 2017, Lynn launched ArkLaTexHomepage’s first web series, The Lynn Vance Show, showcasing local people and places that highlight the good things happening in the Shreveport-Bossier City area. By January 2019, the show marked its 100th webisode and celebrated with a 30-minute TV special on KSHV.
