Members of the Harker Heights City Council received a presentation on an alternative public transit service during Tuesday’s workshop. As the city looks for possible alternatives to the Hill Country Transit District, known as the HOP, the council heard from Transit Ridesharing Inclusive Public-Private Partnership (TRIPPP) consultant Rick Koch about using the program to create partnerships with existing ride-shares in the city.
