2.1. Test Specimens and Materials A total of 17 reinforced concrete (RC) beams were tested under the effect of bending by applying three-point loading. When the beam behavior against shear was investigated experimentally, generally, 4-point or 3-point bending tests were performed in the past studies. For this type of study, shear spans are considered. When 4-point and 3-point bending loading configurations were compared, shear or moment diagrams in shear spans of the beams are closer to each other.
