What was your first job as a journalist?
I started working at BrokenCricket/Fambeat. (But as I said, not as a journalist).
Have you ever used a typewriter?
No.
How is social media changing news?
Very rapidly, especially Twitter.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
None.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To look at different aspects of a topic, educate/inform the readers and add value to your working websites.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
Can't remember.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Any way, it's just that if it is in my range, I will do it.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Docs, Google Sheets, Tableau, DataWrapper and StatsGuru etc.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter, without any doubt.

Why did you become a journalist?
I consider myself as a journalist yet. Some interest arose in my heart to write on cricket. So, I thought of doing that.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Getting published on Cricket.com, working for CricXtasy during CPL 2020 and IPL 2020, IPL 2021 and many good memories with CX.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Think, research, read, write and take enough time to write articles.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime, when I don't have exams 😂

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
Probably, started writing on cricket a bit early for my age. And, then, to know that I can have a full-time career in this field.
