Everyone now has a voice and that can be both good and. bad.

Since I write a lot about travel, I want to experience the place. Please don't pitch if you are not able to host.

Wordpress, Spotify (podcast), Animoto (video editing software)

Social media is making us stupid

Why did you become a journalist?

I love writing and sharing stories of faraway places, interesting people and fabulous life hacks!

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

A publicist pitched me about coming to their client's new restaurant and used the words "pick your poison" and that wasn't the name of a dish

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

We want to write a story from a press release, it's just like going on a vacation.
