2. Materials and Methods 2.1. Cell Culture PC-3 cells (ATTC Catalogue number, CRL-1435) and LNCaP (ATCC Catalogue number, CRL-1740) were obtained from the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC). The PC-3 and LNCaP cells were grown in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM):F12, supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) and 1% penicillin/streptomycin. The cells were kept in a humid incubator at 37 °C with 5% CO2 until they reached 70–80% confluency.
