1 Introduction Thymomas are neoplasms of thymic epithelial origin, typically arising in the anterior mediastinum. Although rare, they constitute the most common anterior mediastinal tumor in adults, with an incidence of 0.13 per 100,000 person-years [1]. These tumors often remain asymptomatic and are detected incidentally. A hallmark of thymoma is its association with autoimmune syndromes, particularly MG, which occurs in up to 40% of cases [1].
