Bobonong — Parties involved in the construction of the Bobonong Sports Facility have agreed to conduct a final account assessment, which will pave the way for a new contract with the current contractor, BWX Link Holdings. The contractor has been in a legal dispute with the implementing authority, the Bobirwa District Council. This newly agreed process is ultimately expected to lead to the successful completion of the facility, whose construction began in November 2019.

Motlhabaneng — Residents of Motlhabaneng have been assured that government has committed to construct Motlhabaneng road and others in the Bobirwa network as part of uplifting the livelihoods of the people while simultaneously opening the area as a trade corridor. Ms Josephine Sasebola of Motlhabaneng runs short of superlatives to laud government for the decision to construct a 16km road from Lekkerpoet road to their village. Ms Sasebola's views represent those of the residents of Motlhabaneng.
