SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The Columbia College volleyball team dropped their final AAC match of the season on the road Saturday, 26-24, 25-10, 25-15 to rival Spartanburg Methodist College. Junior outside hitter Maranda Bird led the visiting Koalas with 12 kills and 14 digs for a double double while recording a .226 hitting percentage and one assist.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Columbia College volleyball team powered past AAC foe Truett McConnell 3-2 in a thrilling five set match on senior day Saturday in Columbia. The Koalas won an exciting 18-16 fifth set for the come-from-behind victory. The Koalas took the first set handily 25-21 before holding off a TMU rally in the second set to win it 28-26 on 19 kills hitting .302. TMU controlled the third set to win 25-21 as well as the fourth set 25-18 to force a deciding set.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Columbia College volleyball team rallied from a set down to defeat Montreat College 3-1 at home on Halloween Night Friday evening. The win gives CC their 4th conference win of the season as they look to qualify for the conference tournament in mid-November improving to 4-12. The Koalas will be right back in action tomorrow to host Truett McConnell (Ga.) on Senior Day at 11:00 am. Senior day will begin at approximately 10:30 am.
