Abstract Future carbon management strategies require storage in elemental form, achievable through a sequence of CO2 hydrogenation reactions. Hydrogen is recycled from molecular intermediates by dehydrogenation, and side product acetylene selectively hydrogenated to ethylene. Existing Pd alloy catalysts for gas purification underperform in concentrated feeds, necessitating novel concepts.

Viele Politiker dringen auf eine schnelle Einführung einer allgemeinen Impfpflicht. Die SPD will das Thema gleich in der ersten Sitzungswoche auf die Tagesordnung setzen. Die Weihnachtsfeiertage haben die Impfkampagne vorerst verlangsamt. Knapp 100.000 Impfungen wurden laut Robert-Koch-Institut an Heiligabend und dem ersten Feiertag verabreicht – und damit an zwei Tagen nur etwa ein Zehntel des normalen Tageswerts.
