Cities and states are always looking for ways to more efficiently and effectively deliver public services, such as flood management, resource conservation, pollution prevention and actions that foster equity and enhance human health. Traditional approaches to infrastructure have helped manage many of these in the past, but new approaches are now yielding even greater returns. A recent study shows that green infrastructure can save cities billions of dollars.
