Discussion According to fish consumption and culinary habits, Japan and Mediterranean countries are among the countries with the highest worldwide prevalence of Anisakiasis cases and associated IgE hypersensitization, whereas in Northern European countries, rare cases are reported, in particular from the Netherlands and Germany [35,36,37].
