4. Materials and Methods 4.1. Cell Culture A human embryonic kidney (HEK293) cell line expressing TMEM175 under control of a tetracycline inducible expression system was used for the purpose of this project. As controls in the respective experiments, HEK293 UT cell lines were used for APC recordings, and a parental HEK293 cell line was employed for SSME recordings.
