Abstract Arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) are the preferred vascular access for hemodialysis in end-stage renal disease patients. AVFs generate vibrations and sounds due to the peculiar blood flow. Frequent monitoring of these signs is essential for early diagnosis of stenoses, which are the main complication of AVFs. Existing datasets contain only recordings of AVFs bruit sounds acquired via electronic stethoscopes.
