1. Introduction The question of the definition of the humanities and the debates surrounding their status as knowledge production goes back a long way. The studia humanitatis, according to its appearance and use at the end of the 10th century, consolidated reading—and in a much more extended way language—as one of the places where humans have understood themselves and others [1] by analyzing their most decisively human ways of being and opening to the other.
