Marie Juliane David is a multilingual journalist, poet, and novelist working at the meeting point of health, Haitian and Caribbean culture, and the diaspora. Trained in medicine at the Université d'État d'Haïti, she has reported for Le Nouvelliste, the Réseau Haïtien des Journalistes de la Santé (RHJS), and the Organisation de Lutte et Développement contre la Pauvreté (ODELPA) and is the author of four books.
