Tahun 1977, Lee Miller duduk menceritakan kisah hidupnya kepada seorang pewawancara. Dari sinilah kita dibawa mundur ke tahun 1937, saat Lee masih dikenal sebagai mantan model New York yang ingin serius jadi fotografer.
