What was your first job as a journalist?

I was a part-time music reviewer and blogger for Spin or Bin Music, a Southeast Asian based music blog.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

No, but I would love to someday!

How is social media changing news?

Social media is now the main platform on which news is shared; it's how you make a name for yourself in the journalism field.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

My listicle on a local news website sharing my experience with my blood condition!

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Try different genres of writing in different fields- you'll never know what will interest you until you try it, and you might be surprised!
