Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist because I liked it. There was a strong appeal in the idea of exploring new stories, meeting diverse people, and being at the forefront of unfolding events.

Yes, I did work for my high school newspaper. I mainly contributed by writing articles on various topics, ranging from school events and achievements to broader subjects like technology and environmental issues.

The stories I am most proud of writing or working on are those about ransomware attacks. These pieces required extensive research and a deep understanding of cybersecurity.

My advice to aspiring journalists is to remain curious and committed to the truth. Journalism is not just about reporting facts, but also about understanding the stories behind those facts. Always ask questions, dig deeper, and look beyond the surface.

When I'm not at a computer, I'm most likely to be either playing basketball or running in the park. Both activities are great ways for me to relax and stay active.

The most common misperception about cybersecurity is that it's solely a concern for IT professionals and large corporations. In reality, cybersecurity is a critical issue for everyone, including individuals and small businesses.
