What was your first job as a journalist?
I was a radio reporter at WUSF (University of South Florida NPR affiliate) 1982-83.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I started out using a typewriter in community college. Took a typing class I barely passed. Fortunately, I got acclimated down the line.

Social media offers job seekers and serious career professionals opportunities to stand out in a noisy and crowded space.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Trying to present a balanced and honest view informing people to respond by action, decision, or be in the know.

Connect with me on LinkedIn, wrote a connection note clearly stating why you want to connect with me. If it's a sale pitch, I will block you.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Two macs and Evernote. I've been using Evernote since 2010 and created nearly 2000 notes. In those notes are outlines, articles, photos/files

Companies interested in content for their job-seeking audience.
Why did you become a journalist?
I'm a writer with a journalistic heart.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Working out at the gym, reading and/or listening to books and podcasts.
