Mark Burger’s Biography
I’m a writer and filmmaker living and working in New York. I recently founded a publishing company, Fallible House, which seeks to publish small books, and collections of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. We’re releasing our first project, Fierce Wounded Things, this summer.
I’m currently pursuing a Masters in Science in Publishing: Digital & Print Media at New York University, with a focus in magazines and digital design. You can find some of my design work from the program here. In addition to a collection of film and music reviews, I also have my collection of short films and a series of film reviews.
Most recently, I worked at Interview Magazine as a Digital Editorial Assistant, where I pitched, wrote, and published news stories and interviews, and I managed the magazine’s social media platforms and content. My work has also been featured in the second issue of Chronotope Magazine, the Winter 2019 Strand Zag, and in the tenth issue of Hello Mr. My first collection of poetry, The Red Beast, is available for purchase here, in digital or physical formats, or at Strand Bookstore in New York City.
