JPEG is one of the most popular image formats in use today. Much of its popularity is due to the fact that JPEG is a “lossy format”, meaning it conserves file size through an algorithm that trims off extra data, or photo detail, where it deems the most inconspicuous and the least likely to be noticed. Whenever a JPEG image is saved, the actual file size of the JPEG file is considerably less than the “raw” data of the image.

Following a special scheme for the Atlanta Falcons and the Baltimore Ravens, it’s the Indianapolis Colts’ time to get one of their own. AirTran Airways’ N936AT has been painted in the Colts’ team colors of Speed Blue and white. The Boeing 717-231 is painted in a similar fashion to those of the Falcons and Ravens, featuring the Colts’ logo on the tail and their name on the engines. This is expected to be the last of AirTran’s plans to paint three aircraft for NFL teams.
