Liverpool will go into both Merseyside derby fixtures of the 2026/27 Premier League season off the back of Champions League games. Both the Reds and Everton discovered their schedules for the new season on Friday, with the derby games placed on the weekends of November 28, 2026 and January 30, 2027. Both matches are of course subject to television schedules, but one thing that is certain is that Liverpool will be going into them after playing a Champions League game in the previous midweek.
