Maseru - Lesotho police claim they are being targeted by the military in an apparent purge. Police officers have told eNCA that Lesotho Defence Force soldiers are carrying out nightly raids of their homes. The police training academy and police barracks were attacked on Sunday night and equipment and uniforms were stolen. Police Commissioner Khothatso Tsooana confirmed that hundreds of his police officers have slipped across the South African border, with only a handful remaining in Lesotho.
