Mark Tilly’s Biography

I am an experienced journalist, sub editor, and digital manager in Australia, SE Asia and the Pacific.

I am Carbon Pulse's Australia and New Zealand Market correspondent.

Previously I worked as a senior journalist and acting editor across Energy News and PNG Report for Aspermont media.

I have freelanced for various publications across the Asia Pacific covering politics, urban development and the environment, including for the Lowy Institute, Crikey, Asia Sentinel, New Naratif and Vice.

I also worked as a communications and capacity building associate with Oxfam’s Mekong Water Governance Programme based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, thanks to Australian Volunteers International.

Background in news writing, radio and podcast production.

Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Curtin University.
