Augsburg hold Bayern after fastest Bundesliga goal, Leipzig hit 6
Bayern Munich drew 2-2 at Augsburg on Saturday after conceding the fastest Bundesliga goal in history following a Manuel Neuer howler. Robin Fellhauer scored after just 8 seconds when Neuer's attempt to chip him ended up with the ball bouncing back off the Augsburg player and into his path. Ismael Saibari levelled early in the second half but Rodrigo Ribeiro, after another questionable Neuer decision, soon put the hosts back ahead.
Milan lose at home, Leverkusen start Europa League with win
AC Milan's Portuguese contingent were humbled 2-0 at home by Benfica on Wednesday in their Europa League opener as Bayer Leverkusen overcame NK Celje by the same score in Germany. Seven-time European champions Milan, who have never won Europe's second-tier competition, went behind on 16 minutes when Dodi Lukébakio cut inside and fired into the bottom corner from 20 metres. The Lisbon side were 2-0 up early in the second period through Jakub Kamiński.

RB Leipzig - thanks to a freak own goal in injury time - emerged as big winners alongside Hoffenheim in the race for the Bundesliga's Champions League places on Saturday. Augsburg goalkeeper Finn Dahmen pushed out a cross but it hit Arthur Chaves and flew in to give fifth-placed Leipzig a last-gasp 2-1 home victory. Dahmen almost scored at the other end after going up for a very late corner.
