Updated Sept. 9, 2026, 8:51 a.m. ET Browns cornerback Denzel Ward is teaming up with the Guardians, at least in the owner's suite. Ward, a five-time Pro Bowler who attended Nordonia High School before playing at Ohio State, has joined the Guardians' ownership group as a minority investor, a team source has confirmed to the Beacon Journal. Ward also joins Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as recently-announced minority investors in the ownership group, led by Paul Dolan and David Blitzer.

The Akron Society of Artists is celebrating its 95th anniversary with a special display at the Akron History Center. The day the Browns' 2026 schedule came out, we made a knee-jerk reaction win-loss prediction on how the season would play out. The result we ended up with was a 5-12 record. Well, four months later, with OTAs and minicamp and training camp and preseason games all having been completed to add context, we're back here to take a swing at guessing the way the season will go.
