As long as I can remember, I’ve wondered what it’s like to own a private island, a secluded retreat like those of Sir Richard Branson and other fortunate few. That is, until I stumbled upon Ambergris Cay—a hidden gem tucked away in the southern reaches of Turks & Caicos. Located in the southeastern corner of this island chain, I couldn’t resist booking a stay at this elusive, luxurious resort.
