When Google erased 136,000 of my files, the only explanation was that their systems flagged "child sexual abuse material." I hadn't shared anything. The trigger was a public dataset - NudeNet - downloaded from Academic Torrents, a site researchers use to share data and that's cited in papers. Whether you think I should have handled it differently or not, this isn't just my problem.

I even confirmed specific filenames they flagged - a rare glimpse into how Google's opaque moderation systems actually work. This isn't just about me.
