Battle of Britain Film (TBC) Directed by Ridley Scott
Not seen where we are of late with cgi's ability to depict a realisitic looking plane, but I know in the past they've always looked 'off, compounded by the directors use of cockpit zoom in/outs and general 'whizz around the plane' camera work. Just stick to what would be possible when filming a real aircraft and we're half way there.

My opinions expressed here are not necessarily those of the AV Forums or the associated websites #2 Yep, a bit of a disappointment this one. It looked good, it sounded great but the film just lacked that bit of magic. I caught myself looking at my watch a few times and thinking that kids would never sit through this movie.

I noticed @lucasisking had a great time with it also, so tempted to venture out to the flicks. Tiny bit cheesed off over having to wait after a cliffhanger. Gladiator II - Sequel (November 15, 2024) Director Ridley Scott
#1 Ridley Scott is moving forward with the Gladiator sequel under his Scott Free banner The Town and Top Gun: Maverick writer Peter Graig being set to pen the script while Scott wants to return to the director’s chair. Paramount will be developing the project while Universal has the option to co-finance the film. Dreamworks, the studio that made the first film, will not be involved.
Hellboy: The Crooked Man (2024) directed by Brian Taylor
#1 Ron Perlman says he would do a 3rd film but must wait on Guillermo del Toro who seems to have a endless list of projects. Toro is currently working on 'At the Mountains of Madness'. Hellboy 3 not been given the green light yet, but its a film both would like to make. I hope theres a third "Hellboy," simply because he always thought of it as a trilogy.

I Am Legend 2 (TBC)
#1 Warner Bros has set writer Gary Graham to adapt an earlier script of his for a rebooted I Am Legend film. They are retrofitting Gary Graham's Blacklist spec script, (a former iPhone salesman), called A GARDEN AT THE END OF THE WORLD, which has been described as "a sci-fi version of John Wayne’s THE SEARCHERS." The reboot will not star Will Smith, who has recently declined doing sequels.
The Thin Red Line Blu-ray Review
#1 Reviewed by Cas Harlow, 24th September 2010. We're living in a world that's blowing itself to hell as fast as everybody can arrange it. Transcending genre staples to become arguably the best war film of modern times, Terrence Malicks stunning directorial return, The Thin Red Line, is a beautiful and tragic look at innocence lost and hell in paradise; painting a sumptuous, emotionally resonant impressionist portrait of war, and the corrupted souls caught up in the chaos.

#1 For sale are the following blu-rays in excellent condition (discs and cases) - region A and UK - prices include postage.
28 Years Later (20 June 2025) from Alex Garland & Danny Boyle
#1 According to reports seems Danny Boyle (Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) might be going back to his '28 Days Later' zombie franchise and actually directing the third film. When asked if the title would be 28 Months Later, Boyle replied "In theory, yes." Immediately the next question was if he'd be producing, to which Boyle responded, "Actually I want to direct it." #2 I am betting this is set in America seeing as FOX is now in charge.
The Outpost (Amazon) Movie Review & Comments
#2 Good review - it's a well made film, decent tension in the build up to the ‘the big one’ - personally though in this genre specifically in the Afghanistan setting I think Kajaki is a better film (think it’s on Netflix). But it is a good reminder yet again of the folly of foreign invaders in Afghanistan and the woeful planning for what happens once western forces get a foothold. Lions/donkeys etc.

Alien TV Series [Disney+/FX] Noah Hawley TBC
#1 Rumoured than an Alien TV anthology series in development at Hulu, with each season taking place in a different part of the Alien universe and will co-exist with the still being written Alien Covenant/Alien sequel movie. Hopefully better than the terrible IGN Alien Isolation web series. #2 This would have my curiosity but I wouldn’t be very hopeful that it would be any good.
The Exorcist: Believer - Part One (6 October 2023) directed by David Gordon Green
#1 Morgan Creek are still planning to remake William Friedkin's 1973 The Exorcist. It probably be awful, so I would not worry about it. The company is selling it's domestic rights to a library of 78 titles but keeping a hand full, The Exorcist being one, sales from the titles will go back into production for the remakes. Morgan Creek CEO Jim Robinson; “I’m selling the library strictly for economic reasons. It will go back into the company to fund more production.
