Senior Spotlight: Grace Harris By Marlie Kreger Grace Harris is this week's outstanding senior at Guntersville High School. She is 17 years old and the daughter of Paul and Kim Harris. She is also the oldest of three; her siblings are Mary Bea and Hank Harris. This year Grace has taken on the role of G-Squad leader alongside our other senior spotlight, Michael Raulerson. Together, they create student section themes for each sporting event and help our student section to be loud and proud.

Meet The Girls Soccer Team By Jennifer Gabriel and Carlyn Cox Let us introduce the 2022-2023 GHS girl’s soccer team. These hardworking and dedicated young ladies are an important part of the Wildcat family. These girls work together and put their all into the game. Last season, the Lady Wildcats had a great season with an outstanding record of 14-5 and made it to the State Championships.

Player to Manager By Austin Bubbett Deacon Turner, a junior at Guntersville High School who previously played on the Wildcat football team for four years, served as the football manager for the 2022 season. During the summer, he obtained an injury, a herniated disk in his neck, that prevented him from playing football. After encouragement from his family, Deacon decided to continue to help the football team in any way he could during the season.
