2020 - Drama
Awarded third place in the 2020 William & Mary Literary Awards in the Drama/Screenwriting category for a television pilot, titled "Baddies." I was judged by production designer, Almitra Corey, and I will be featured in the awards booklet.
Third Place Tiberius Gracchus Jones Prize
2020 - Nonfiction
Awarded third place in the 2020 William & Mary Literary Awards in the Nonfiction category for a memoir piece, titled "Materials." I was judged by writer, Rachel Monroe, and I will be featured in the awards booklet.
Second Place Premiere Playwriting Award
2020 - Playwriting
Awarded 2nd Place in the 2020 Premiere Theatre Playwriting Competition at William & Mary for a play titled "Live From a Concept of Home" that combined stand-up comedy and traditional scenes.
24 Speed Jury Award
2020 - Dialogue
In the 2020 Library's 24 Speed Filmmaking Competition, my film "16th Annual Adventure" won "Best Line of Dialogue" for our use of the line "I don't want to roar"
Second Place Howard Scammon Prize
2019 - Drama
A screenplay, "Optics,' that told the story of Heather, a pianist who is slowly going blind was awarded the second place Howard Scammon Drama Prize from the 2019 William & Mary Literary Awards.
Second Place Premiere Award and Jury Award
2019 - Playwriting
Awarded 2nd Place in the 2019 Premiere Theatre Playwriting Competition at the College of William & Mary. Also, presented a special jury prize for innovative writing for a play titled "Defining Moments."
24 Speed Jury Award
2019 - Genre
For William & Mary Library's 24 Speed Filmmaking Competition, my film "Days of our Tribe" won "Best Interpretation of Genre" for the Soap Opera genre.
Scholastic Gold Key and Silver Medal
2016 - Critical Essay
"From Your Friendly Neighborhood Feminist" was an editorial I wrote about feminism in comic books. It went on to be published in Women's eNews: Teen Voices, the Writopia Winter 2015 Feminist Chapbook (along with receiving title credit), and the 2016 edition of Oakton High School's literary magazine, Opus: From Scratch. It also won both a gold key and a silver medal in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in 2016. For the Virginia High School League Creative Writing Portfolio competition, it was selected by Oakton High School to be entered in the essay category. There, it won second place and led Oakton High School to win first place overall for their portfolio.

Achieved honors in Creative Writing at an undergraduate level at William & Mary with a section of a novel, titled "Tell Me What You Really Think."
