Currently based in New York, Marta Dhanis is the U.S. Broadcast Correspondent for TVI, the Portuguese leading news network. She covers a wide array of topics and has reported on major news events such as the Papal visit 2015, the US-Cuba thaw, the 2012 Presidential election, the Boston marathon bombing, hurricanes Irene and Sandy, and the Sandy Hook shooting. Interviewed high-profile personalities like Hillary Clinton, former IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Emmy-winning TV journalist and personality Meredith Vieira, among others.
Marta recently published an investigative journalism book on a murder trial case in New York. She is trilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese) and also knows French, Arabic, and German.
