A journalist calls attention to what others hide or neglect. They do this in service of the truth and the people impacted by the truth.

CUE, Google Docs and Sheets, Adobe Lightroom

Twitter is my favorite. Instagram is my second favorite.
Why did you become a journalist?
The mission and ethics journalists value resonate with me. And as a storyteller, I find the most important stories to tell are truthful.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I deeply regretted not working at my high school newspaper. Luckily, I got a second shot at my community college newspaper.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I prefer pitches during the day. I'm no night owl.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Computers are everywhere and I like being around them. In my off hours I'll be reading, gaming, hiking and taking photos.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I enjoy the LA Times, The Verge and Polygon.
