Police arrested a 37-year-old Seattle man accused of burglarizing west Olympia businesses early Tuesday morning. The man allegedly broke into an Ace Hardware store and a Brazilian Ju-Jitsu Gym, both on Cooper Point Road Southwest, according to court records. Officers detained the man after a short chase near Capitol Mall, court records show.

A curious goat visited law enforcement at a crime scene near the Thurston and Mason counties border, Trooper Kameron Watts shared on X Thursday morning. Billy the Goat dropped in as troopers were evaluating an abandoned ATV on Old Olympic Highway near Oyster Bay, Watts said in his 6:48 a.m. post. One photo Watts shared shows Billy approaching a row of State Patrol and Sheriff’s Office vehicles flanking the ATV.
