Innovation of the Year Sky News.com was (at the time) a new format: harnessing the nascent power of the web and social media to create an interactive evening news show. The agenda was driven by metrics such as "most clicked" and "most viewed". Contributors were brought to air by first generation webcam & and skype technology (with mixed results!).
