Dear Editor, Multiple myeloma (MM) remains a heterogeneous disease with diverse molecular and cytogenetic profiles that influence treatment responses and long-term outcomes. The translocation t(11;14), which leads to overexpression of cyclin D1 (CCND1), is the most common primary translocation event in MM, affecting around 16–24% of newly diagnosed myeloma patients [1].
