Sgt. Amanda Wilson Wright, a 20-year veteran of the Evanston Police Department, was promoted to head the department’s Traffic Bureau earlier this year. A proposed Amazon Now center at 2312 Main St. will carry 3,500 items and focus on delivery within 30 minutes, Amazon representative Nathan Eady told residents at Tuesday’s Second Ward meeting.
