1 Introduction Pediatric glaucoma is a potentially blinding disease, accounting for about 18% of blindness and 5% of overall pediatric blindness worldwide [1]. In many glaucoma cases, a drainage device such as Ahmed valve is implanted in the periocular space to drain aqueous humor to relieve built up pressure on the optic nerve [2, 3].
