What was your first job as a journalist?
Coanchor and producer at my university radio station.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes and I love the typewriter sound!
How is social media changing news?
By providing info on real time during breaking news situations. You can also get pretty good testimonies thanks to SM platforms.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
We are the voice of the people.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
I've seen so many but they are not politically correct.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I love to read what our audience says on Social Media, they can give you a pretty good story idea or an interesting sidebar.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I cannot live without Adobe Premier, Audition, Photoshop and Final Cut Pro... they are essential softwares for my daily assignments.

Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist by coincidence, I wanted to be a doctor but at the end, journalism was my call.

No
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Right now, I'm proud of the work we are doing covering Venezuela. We are tackle the story from all angles.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Networking (in the industry and with the audience) is key. Don't be afraid of social media but handle with care.
